About Us

Who Are the Friends of the Redwood City Library?

50 dedicated volunteers that dedicate 6,000 hours per year sorting, scanning and pricing thousands of books, managing online book sales, and staffing our book store and other sales every month.

What Do We Do?

Fund Library and Community Programs such as Summer Reading, Online Homework Help, Authors at Local Schools, Traveling Story Time, Baby/Children/Teens, Arts and Crafts, Museum Access, Cultural Events, Job Seeking, Music and More!

Friends' Board Meetings are held the third Monday of every Month in the Small Meeting Room in the Downtown Library. Meetings are open to the public.
